About Me
Emi Noyan | Psychotherapist
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their ethical framework, ensuring professional and confidential care for all my clients.
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy from Regent’s University London and am currently pursuing my MA in Existential Psychotherapy at the same institution.
My background in advertising as a creative has equipped me with a unique perspective on human behaviour and communication. This experience enhances my therapeutic approach, allowing me to offer innovative insights and strategies that complement my work.
While I draw on multiple therapeutic approaches, such as psychodynamic and CBT, my work is rooted in an existential perspective, prioritising your individual experience over rigid theoretical frameworks. I am deeply interested in your unique understanding of the world, and together, we’ll develop coping strategies tailored to your personal needs. My practice is further informed by a deep interest in Eastern philosophy and mindfulness, offering a holistic approach to mental well-being. This approach allows me to help clients by addressing their immediate concerns and deeper questions of meaning, purpose, and authenticity in their lives.
I offer therapy in English and Turkish.
I work with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, neurodiversity, issues related to ageing and more. Please see other areas I work with here.
