An open and curious way of working together
Emi Noyan | Psychotherapist
As a BACP-registered psychotherapist, I work from an existential perspective because it helps people connect with a deeper sense of meaning and personal growth. The tone of the work is open, collaborative and non-pathologising, and I also draw on other approaches so therapy can be shaped around your unique way of being in the world.
The existential approach is curious rather than diagnostic. Instead of trying to fit you into a constructed frame or set of labels, we stay with your lived experience and explore what things genuinely mean to you and your life as it is.
In our sessions, you can expect a warm and respectful space where you can explore life’s big and everyday questions and the grey areas in between. We might look at themes like freedom, choice and authenticity while working with whatever brings you here, such as anxiety, depression, everyday or work-related stress, low self-esteem, procrastination, life transitions, relationship difficulties, gender issues, neurodiversity or trauma.
Each person’s experience is unique; how you feel and cope with these challenges is your own and deserves a personalised approach. The focus is on building a strong, trusting relationship that supports self-discovery, helps resolve inner conflicts and opens up possibilities for a fuller, more authentic life by exploring your values, choices and the meanings you find in living.
I offer in-person sessions in Hammersmith and Chiswick, as well as online appointments. If you have any questions or would like to arrange a complimentary introductory call to see how this way of working feels for you, please get in touch.
